Each vehicle has its own servicing cycle, defined by the manufacturer based upon th engine type.
This cycle consists of alternating three types of service A, B and C, depending on the vehicle, and a few additional operations; these correspond to key stages in the life of the vehicle.

VISUAL CHECK	Operation of lights/signalling
	Condition of the windows, headlamp units, light lenses and mirrors
	Wash-wipe jets
	Condition of the wiper blades
BATTERY CHECK	Battery (condition)
ENVIRONMENTAL CHECK	Pollen filter
	Emission control check (petrol)
	Check of the opacity of the smoke (diesel)
	Visual check of the whole vehicle by a technician of the marque's network
