These extended intervals between services require the engine oil to be checked regularly. The topping up of the oil level between services is normal.
For this reason, we offer you an intermediate visit(1) between regular services.
The date of this visit is not shown on the service indicator. We will carry out a quick check and top-up the levels if necesseary (oil, coolant, windscreen wash up to 2 litres).
If the oil level is too low or too high there is a risk of serious damage to the engine. Check the level at least every 2,000 to 3,000 miles, depending on the conditions of use.
(1) This intermediate visit will be carried out free of charge provided that the previous type A, B or C service has been carried out on your vehicle within the PEUGEOT network and the member of the PEUGEOT repair network who carried out the service has duly completed the service coupon.

It is essential to use a minimum synthetically based engine oils which at least meet ACEA A3/B3 and API SJ/SL (petrol engines) or ACEA A3/B3 and API CF (diesel engines) standards. If this is not the case, it is necessary to follow the Arduos Conditions servicing schedule which has shorter intervals between services. TOTAL engine oils recommended by PEUGEOT meet these standards.
ACEA = Association des Constructeurs Européans Automobiles ( Association of European Automobile Manufacturers)
API = American Petroleum Institute
