James Cookson – Dealer Principal
James is responsible for the overall running of the business. James is the fourth generation to be running the business and has been involved with Peugeot since 1989.

Sue Terry – Purchase Ledger
Sue is responsible for all Supplier Accounts and ensures all our bills are correct and paid on time. Sue also looks after the administration of our retail car sales.

Sharon Cunningham – Sales Ledger Clerk
Sharon looks after all the things we sell and is responsible for politely, but firmly, chasing any debtors we have. Should you have any enquiries on any invoices from us then
contact her either on our main phone number or by email.
SALES DEPARTMENT

Daniel Horner – Sales Manager
As our Sales Manager Dan not only looks after the running of the sales department but also actively sells cars both through the Motability scheme and also to the hundreds of his past and future customers.

David Holt – Sales Executive
David specializes in New Car Sales. When not at work he is busy keeping active either through Badminton, Keep Fit or golf.

Chris Semple – Sales Executive
Chris has a wealth of customer service experience and is happy to help and assist you with both new and used vehicle enquiries.

Tony Leech – Valeting
Tony carefully cleans and polishes all our new and used cars, producing that ‘Showroom Shine’. An integral part of the sales team making sure we all have what we need at just the right moment in time.
SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Erwin Barber – Service Director
Erwin joined J.J.Cookson Ltd in the mid 1960′s as an Apprentice. In the last 40 years he has worked and run most section of the business and is one of the most accomplished
Service Managers in the country.

Karen Rowland – Service Advisor
When your car needs a service or repair Karen will help book it in at a mutually convenient time and then will manage the work done on your car on the day. She will then liaise
with you over any additional work in line with your instructions.

Paul Cope – Customer Advisor
Our customer service specialist and the person who is there to help with all things Peugeot at JJ Cookson. If you need someone to book your car in at a mutually convenient time then call Paul. Out of work, Paul is a keen photographer, especially aviation photography.

Dominic Farley – Assistant Service Manager
Dominic is responsible for the claiming and administering of all Peugeot Warranty. Doms passions include anything running on petrol. The phrase’Petrol Head’ was invented for Dominic, especially V8’s!

Simon Cobham – Master Technician
Simon started as an apprentice with us in 1989 and has risen to be one of the top 50 Peugeot Technicians in the country. Simon’s speciality is Fault Diagnosis.

Mick Hill – Master Technician
Mick joined in 1989 as an Apprentice. Like Simon he has risen to the position of Master Technician and has been a past runner up of Peugeot’s Technician of the Year award.

Dave Ellis – Technician
With over 35 years experience at J.J.Cookson Ltd Dave has 30 years plus with Peugeot. Dave is local to Macclesfield and a keen football supporter.

Mike McHugh – Accredited ATA Technician
Mike joined us in Jan 2008 as our Apprentice. Having already completed his first year NVQ at college Mike completed his training in 2009. Mike’s hobbies include restoring old Minis, watching motorbike racing, in fact anything that involves an engine!

Nick Durrant – Service Supervisor
Nick started with us as an Apprentice in the late 1970′s and Nick now helps to run our Service department. When away from work Nick is a keen Mountain Biker and Surfer.

Steve Duncalf –
Steve joined us in 2001 and since then has completed his MOT Tester qualifications. Outside of work Steve enjoys a spot of fishing.

Chris Cheal –
Chris joined us in early 2003. Since joining Chris has gained his formal qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (NVQ3). He specialises in vehicle electrics, now fully qualified and has just passed his exams in MOT testing. Chris is also pretty nifty with the golf clubs!
PARTS DEPARTMENT

Johnathan Cookson – Parts Manager
Johnny began working for J.J. Cookson Ltd in the 1960′s and has been the Parts Manager since the late 1970′s. Johnny’s knowledge of Peugeot parts is legendary, as is his knowledge of J.J.Cookson Ltd since the company was begun by his Grandfather in 1911.

Bob Millward – Parts Assistant
Bob has over 25 years experience with Peugeot parts. When not finding obscure Express van parts he is keeping tabs on all things flying.

Steve Newman – Parts Driver
The careful white van man of Bollington. Steve helps provide our free local trade delivery service on all orders over £35.00.
