Unveiled to an expectant crowd at the Geneva Motor Show back in March, the new Peugeot Rifter is set to be available for motorists in Macclesfield this September. This family friendly model, which replaces the popular Partner Tepee model, can be expected to cost just shy of £20,000 and will come packed to the brim with features.
Available in two sizes, the Rifter offers plenty of space for those families in need of complete cabin versatility. Whether in the standard wheelbase length of 4.4 metres, or the long wheelbase of 4.75 metres, there is ample room for up to five passengers. In fact, storage space of up to 1,050 litres means there is enough space for the whole family, their luggage and personal items, and even the family dog.
A selection of trim levels - Active, Allure, and the range-topping GT Line - provide excellent levels of technology and comfort measures to enhance the driving experience. For example, even entry level models come with lane keep assist, air conditioning, speed limit recognition, and Bluetooth connectivity. Step up to the Allure level, meanwhile, and you can enjoy added equipment such as rear parking sensors, electric rear windows, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring voice recognition.
Of course, it is the top-of-the-line GT Line edition that really provides the utmost comfort and convenience, with a number of styling enhancements and equipment additions that enhance the drive. Seventeen-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, and automatic dual zone climate control are all included, while the infotainment system is updated to include satellite navigation .
All models are powered by a 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel option that provides up to 128bhp, while a 1.2-litre PureTech petrol option delivers 108bhp and a six-speed manual transmission. Regardless of the model you select, you can be certain performance and comfort are of the highest standard.
